Curriculum

Con la madera, el más humilde de los materiales trabaja Beatriz, tallando el bloque hasta lograr obras de gran fuerza y definición. Su búsqueda plástica se inició con la fotografía hasta encontrar en la xilografía, grabado con matriz de madera, su forma de expresión más genuina. Imprimió sus imágenes coloridas sobre papel, y también experimentó con estampado blanco sobre raso. Actualmente prepara una muestra con una técnica diferente (la que podremos ver en el Museo de Bellas Artes en Octubre de este año). Paralelamente investiga con el grabado digital. Pero aquí, por razones prácticas rescatamos solamente su obra Xilográfica en color y un fotopolímero(ver Glosario) With the humblest material, wood, works Beatriz, carving until she finds her image, full of strenght and definition. Permanently investigating new ways of expression, she travels from photography at the begining, to find herself comfortable for years with Xilography (wood printing). She is actually preparing an instalation with a completely different tecnique. Here, for practical reasons we have chosen her full of color engravings in wood.
