Curriculum

Ute nace en Buenos Aires; desde pequeña recoge flores en las orillas del Río de la Plata, para luego dibujarlas y pintarlas. Cuando termina su educación media es enviada a Chile, país de origen de su madre, por un año sabático y para visitar a la familia. Don Pablo Burchard la recibe como alumna libre en la Escuela de Bellas Artes permitiéndole solamente dibujar las réplicas de esculturas en el subterráneo, nada muy estimulante para ella que amaba el aire libre. A pesar de su inclinación artística decide estudiar algo que una las plantas y el arte, y se decide por agronomía , derivando luego al paisajismo dónde ha desarrollado una fructífera labor. En ésta, su primera exposición individual nos muestra acuarelas de flores, frutos y algunos paisajes. English Ute was born in Buenos Aires, since her childhood she picks flowers from the borders of De la Plata river, to be drawn or painted. When she finishes school, she is sent to Chile, for a Sabbatical year and to meet her relatives, her mother is chilean. Pablo Burchard, a well known painter recieves her at the Fine Art School, as a free student, but he only allows her to draw replicas of sculptures in the cellar. It was not very encouraging for her, she loved to be outdoors and was anxious for color. Back home she decides to study agronomy, joining her love for plants and art. She works as a landscapist. This is her first solo show, where we may enjoy her watercolors of flowers, fruits and landscapes.
